Linda F. Delaney is the owner and Chief Training Strategist of LFD Consulting, LLC. LFD Consulting specializes in quality & process improvement, change management, evaluation, and leadership development. LFD Consulting provides services in leadership/employee development programs for local, county, and federal government entities.

Linda serves as a program evaluator, trainer, author, speaker, and grant reviewer and is a former local television host of “Another Perspective.” She is certified in Empowerment Evaluation and Lean Six Sigma. During her tenure at the City of Memphis (November 2009 – March 2016), Linda developed and executed the City’s first Emerging Leaders program and managed the inaugural Urban Fellows programs. The return on investment for leadership development was over 85% of emerging leaders who earned promotions and/or advanced degrees/certifications after attending.

Linda has been developing customized leadership programs (10-12 weeks) and training offerings for governments (i.e., City of Memphis, Shelby County, Centers for Disease Control, et al) and corporations (i.e., ServiceMaster Facilities Maintenance, Self+Tucker Architects, et al) since 2010 and has graduated and/or certified (leadership levels and process improvement) over 420 participants. In 2015, Linda attended the Harvard Kennedy School’s Executive Education course in Authentic Leadership Development as a participant of the Executive Leadership Program for the Delta Regional Authority.

From February 2021 – November 2021, Linda served as the Memphis Instructor for the Small Business Administration’s Emerging Leaders Program, where she facilitated the development of 3-year strategic growth plans for CEOs in various industries. She served as the facilitator for the inaugural 2021 Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESO) for the state of Tennessee.

Linda has served as an Executive Director for the Mississippi County Workforce Alliance and National Sales Manager for the nation’s leading sales trainer, Tom Hopkins. With over 30 years of leadership and training experience, Linda proudly continues to help leaders to emerge via fun, evidence-based approaches.

Linda is currently an Executive PhD candidate at Jackson State University. She resides in Cordova, Tennessee.
